CASA of Larimer County’s (CLC’s) annual Light of Hope virtual fundraiser was an incredible success! This year’s event celebrated the outstanding work of our organization, recognized key people in our community, and raised money for vulnerable children. We heard a powerful statement from Aubrey about the difference her CASA made, a heartwarming story of a mother and son reunited through CLC’s services, and inspiring experiences within our community. In case you missed it, click here to watch the event videos.
Over the past year, instances of child abuse likely increased behind closed doors as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, causing an even greater need for our services. Although this year’s event looked very different compared to previous years, our incredible donors and community partners raised $110,000 dollars! These funds will provide critical program support and help us meet the anticipated increase of dependency & neglect cases once the COVID-19 pandemic is over. We know the road ahead is long, but these funds will make a tremendous difference to the children and families we serve.
Thank you to our donors, party hosts, award winners, CASA volunteers, and fundraising champions for believing in our mission. Light of Hope would not be possible without the support of our major event sponsors: Conduct All Electric, Realities for Children, ANB Bank, Assured Partners, Bohemian Foundation, FNBO, Neenan Archistruction, and Peters Schulte Odil & Wallshein law firm.
