April is National Child Abuse Awareness month. Join the campaign and help us raise awareness and support for over 1,700 children in Larimer County impacted by abuse and neglect. There are over 500 children each year involved in a Dependency & Neglect court case due to child maltreatment and CASA of Larimer County is only able to provide a Court Appointed Special Advocate to 200 children. Together with local businesses, we are hosting awareness and fundraising events throughout the month of April. Help us raise the resources we need to reach the remaining 300 children who need a CASA volunteer.

You can make a difference! Share the campaign events on social media and plan to join us at some of these events.

You can make a greater impact by inviting people to attend with you. Maybe that’s inviting your golf buddies, gym friends, or colleagues to DC Oaks on April 30th for happy hour or enjoy happy hour on the roof top patio at Illegal Pete’s on April 9th. Maybe your bible study group or mom’s group is looking for a new location to meet in the month of April; how about joining us at Pour Brother’s on April 18th or Happy Lucky’s Teahouse on April 12th? Do you swap babysitting with a friend or neighbor? Bring all the kids out to Jumpin’ on April 26th or pick up some books for that summer reading list from Barnes & Noble during the week of April 20th with code 12343091. Follow us on Facebook to share and invite your friends to different events, post your pictures, and show the world how one person can make the future brighter for a child recovering from abuse and neglect.
