Light of Hope Breakfast: A Powerful Testament to the Work of CASA
On Wednesday, March 27th, over 300 people filled the ballroom of the Fort Collins Hilton for our annual Light of Hope Breakfast. In addition to raising awareness about the role of CASA and the impact that CASA volunteers have on the lives of abused and neglected children, this flagship event raises funds necessary to support the operation of this often life-changing organization. This year’s breakfast was the most well attended, and raised more funds, than any other in our recent history.
Magistrate Kent Spangler from the 8th Judicial District opened the event by addressing the audience. He thanked everyone for attending and stressed the value of the CASA program and the lasting impact that it has had on so many. After lauding the commitment of everyone in the room, a short film detailing this year’s Volunteer Award recipients.
